Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roy Thaler made the kick off which started today's match. Massimo Wüst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Thaler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Illgau's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roy Thaler fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Massimo Wüst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Thaler in the 15th minute of the match. Roy Thaler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Massimo Wüst came out and tried to block the shot, but Roy Thaler slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Noah Graf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Massimo Wüst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Illgau's Alessandro Dutzler got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Klemens Reinhardt came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Illgau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klemens Reinhardt couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Illgau's zone, Noah Graf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Massimo Wüst came out of the goal and Noah Graf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Thaler in the 39th minute of play forced Illgau's goalkeeper Massimo Wüst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noah Graf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Massimo Wüst made a huge save. Illgau's Massimo Wüst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Thaler in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Illgau's goalkeeper Massimo Wüst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Roy Thaler fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Thomas Rhinow fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Illgau's protests and gave Thomas Rhinow a yellow card for diving instead. Thomas Rhinow kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Noah Graf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Massimo Wüst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roy Thaler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Massimo Wüst having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualtier Lanzendorfer was the one to do the kick off. If Noah Graf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Illgau defense, Noah Graf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Massimo Wüst. The Illgau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Massimo Wüst should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Roy Thaler put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Massimo Wüst. Dolf Obrecht's late challenge caught a Illgau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dolf Obrecht helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, FC Wattenwil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolf Obrecht to maneuver through the defense. In the 80thth minute of the game Roy Thaler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Illgau's Massimo Wüst was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Roy Thaler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Massimo Wüst was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Noah Graf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Massimo Wüst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roy Thaler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Roy Thaler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klemens Reinhardt might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joe Füglister. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Klemens Reinhardt ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Roy Thaler managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wattenwil's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Thaler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Massimo Wüst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the FC Wattenwil players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
