Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thomas Naumann got the match started through his kick off. After 4 minutes, Baptiste Berg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liebistorf and the YOUNG BOYS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Baptiste Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Naumann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Feliciano Ritter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Ritter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Naumann in the 8th minute of the match. Feliciano Ritter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Naumann in the 14th minute of play. When Thomas Naumann came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the YOUNG BOYS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Naumann couldn't finish the play. When Lazlo Drescher fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YOUNG BOYS's protests and gave Lazlo Drescher a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of YOUNG BOYS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Liebistorf:s goal. Baptiste Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Dolder in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tam Henseler saved YOUNG BOYS from getting behind. In the 36th minute, YOUNG BOYS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baptiste Berg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Palmiro Lenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 2-0 became the score in the 43rd minute when Baptiste Berg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Palmiro Lenz made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Liebistorf's goalkeeper Feliciano Ritter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinhard Rochat. Tam Henseler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baptiste Berg's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Tam Henseler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmiro Lenz in the 67th minute of play. Palmiro Lenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75thth minute of the game Palmiro Lenz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YOUNG BOYS's Tam Henseler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Jonas Neeser almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but YOUNG BOYS's Tam Henseler did a great save. Tam Henseler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palmiro Lenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Baptiste Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tam Henseler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Palmiro Lenz's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The supporters of Liebistorf booed when YOUNG BOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedor Moos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baptiste Berg might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tam Henseler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baptiste Berg ran back to his position shaking his head. Palmiro Lenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tam Henseler having to interfere. Baptiste Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th match minute, YOUNG BOYS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benoit Amhof to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the match, YOUNG BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Palmiro Lenz came free, but Tam Henseler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
