Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kappelen SC's Peter Filli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Kappelen SC's zone, Gaetano Valet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giona Schwarz came out of the goal and Gaetano Valet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tam Dubs in the 4th minute of play forced Kappelen SC's goalkeeper Giona Schwarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Amadeus Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kappelen SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeus Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fritz Freuler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Aberle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Freuler having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeus Schmidt got free with Fritz Freuler in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giona Schwarz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaetano Valet in the 23rd minute of play. Diego Aberle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fritz Freuler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Giona Schwarz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaetano Valet, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tam Dubs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaetano Valet in the 34th minute of play forced Kappelen SC's goalkeeper Giona Schwarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giona Schwarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaetano Valet in the 35th minute of the match. Peter Filli struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Fritz Freuler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kappelen SC. Grüsch HC's Fritz Freuler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Filli in the 38th minute of play. Neron Jeker got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Kappelen SC booed when Grüsch HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neron Jeker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Filli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Kappelen SC's Peter Filli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fritz Freuler. That made the score 2-0 after 44 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tam Dubs made a kick off. If Tam Dubs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Aberle in the 59th minute of play forced Grüsch HC's goalkeeper Fritz Freuler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Baumann's late challenge caught a Kappelen SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Baumann helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kappelen SC booed when Grüsch HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Baumann didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Filli in the 63rd minute of play forced Grüsch HC's goalkeeper Fritz Freuler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Diego Aberle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fritz Freuler was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. If Diego Aberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kappelen SC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Kappelen SC's Diego Aberle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Diego Aberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Diego Aberle notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Grüsch HC's Fritz Freuler. Fritz Freuler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grüsch HC's Fritz Freuler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Aberle in the 86th minute of play. Peter Filli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Freuler having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Scott Beschmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kappelen SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scott Beschmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Kappelen SC were the better team. Kappelen SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
