Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jerom Giger kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Schönenwerd SC's zone, Milo Wirz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Graham Goffredo came out of the goal and Milo Wirz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milo Wirz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Schönenwerd SC's Graham Goffredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milo Wirz in the 11th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Schönenwerd SC's Olivier Achen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luca Lang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Graham Goffredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerom Giger in the 26th minute of the match. Graham Goffredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milo Wirz's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. FC Horgen's Jerom Giger got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Milo Wirz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graham Goffredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerom Giger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 42 played minutes Schönenwerd SC got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Melone. 42 minutes into the match, FC Horgen's Guy Troxler broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Caniglia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gitano Parolini charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gitano Parolini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gitano Parolini hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Milo Wirz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerom Giger in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Graham Goffredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Milo Wirz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th match minute, FC Horgen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Beller to maneuver through the defense. Graham Goffredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerom Giger's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Graham Goffredo was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Jerom Giger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jerom Giger really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Milo Wirz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Zwygart kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. FC Horgen's Milo Wirz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerom Giger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
