Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Justus Isaak started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pitt Giorgi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cedric Schlüssel in the 3rd minute. Justus Isaak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregoire Nannarone having to interfere. In the 10th minute of the match Baptiste Gut sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregoire Nannarone skillfully saved the ball. After 11 minutes, Bruce Garnier made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Martigny HC's Pitt Giorgi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cedric Schlüssel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Pitt Giorgi made a huge save. If Cedric Schlüssel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Cedric Schlüssel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ehrendingen's supporters rose to their feet, but Cedric Schlüssel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pitt Giorgi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruce Garnier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruce Garnier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pitt Giorgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brendan De Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregoire Nannarone having to interfere. Ehrendingen's Andreas Silvestri shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pitt Giorgi but with some difficulty. Gregoire Nannarone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan De Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Justus Isaak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregoire Nannarone having to interfere. Cedric Schlüssel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Bruce Garnier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pitt Giorgi was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. If Cedric Schlüssel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Justus Isaak came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Martigny HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justus Isaak couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruce Garnier was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ehrendingen booed when Martigny HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Korner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes, Hieronymus Papa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ehrendingen and the Martigny HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Brendan De Souza came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Martigny HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brendan De Souza couldn't finish the play. Pitt Giorgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruce Garnier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cedric Schlüssel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruce Garnier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pitt Giorgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Martigny HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baptiste Gut to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Ehrendingen's Thorsten Gätter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pitt Giorgi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
