After 7 played minutes Waltenschwil got a freekick which was hit by Sylvester Vicente. Waltenschwil's Gunter Vonrotz got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harley Schwyter charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harley Schwyter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fc jannis getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Harley Schwyter hit a great ball. Gunter Vonrotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justus Lindemann hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gunter Vonrotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lienhard Meier having to interfere. Stefan Gonzales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Odysseus Furrer's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Gunter Vonrotz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lienhard Meier, 1-0. When Mathis Grunewald came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Fc jannis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathis Grunewald couldn't finish the play. Leroy Galliker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lienhard Meier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jeremias Schenkel fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc jannis's protests and gave Jeremias Schenkel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Fc jannis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Schenkel to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunter Vonrotz to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camillo Dalmedico during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute of the match, Steffen Hermann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stefan Gonzales saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Fc jannis getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Silvan Schwander hit a great ball. After 68 minutes of play, Waltenschwil's Gunter Vonrotz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lienhard Meier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Steffen Hermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Gonzales having to interfere. When Mathis Grunewald, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 74 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Stefan Gonzales was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gunter Vonrotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lienhard Meier having to interfere. After 87 played minutes, Waltenschwil's Morgan Jeanquartier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lienhard Meier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Waltenschwil reached it. Waltenschwil's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Steffen Hermann 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Stefan Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Hermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Mathis Grunewald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
