Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dick Fortin got the match started through his kick off. Placidus Hottiger in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pierre Gervoletti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Garcia Perna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmus Sauber in the 12th minute of the match. Aaron Räss hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The long shot by Robert Schneider in the 18th minute really tested Pierre Gervoletti's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 19th minute Placidus Hottiger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Gervoletti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dick Fortin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Pierre Gervoletti made a huge save. 28 minutes into the game, FCBeresina's John Jolicoeur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Garcia Perna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lutz Graf lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Pierre Gervoletti, was totally fooled by Mike FC's Jarrett Charpie, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Fabrizio Arnold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dick Fortin took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierre Gervoletti. Pierre Gervoletti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Hammer in the 53rd minute of play forced FCBeresina's goalkeeper Pierre Gervoletti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick Fortin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cedric von Rohr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pierre Gervoletti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre Gervoletti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Fortin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dick Fortin in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre Gervoletti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pierre Gervoletti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Fortin in the 69th minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match Guglielmo Fellmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pierre Gervoletti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FCBeresina's zone, Placidus Hottiger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Gervoletti came out of the goal and Placidus Hottiger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placidus Hottiger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Gervoletti having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placidus Hottiger in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre Gervoletti saved FCBeresina from getting behind. Fabrizio Arnold struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Garcia Perna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCBeresina. The supporters of Mike FC booed when FCBeresina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Thaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mike FC's Jarrett Charpie couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FCBeresina. For all the effort they put into the match, the FCBeresina players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mike FC.
