The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Ferden FC's goalkeeper Giovanni Piller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gioele Lucciotti. After a rather tough play, Ferden FC's Bernhard Uttiger got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Brandenberger in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bart Bourgouin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Stefano Abendroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Altmatt's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Gerig came free, but Bart Bourgouin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bart Bourgouin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Brandenberger in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Brandenberger to make the kick off. Ferden FC's Carlos Brandenberger got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Carlos Brandenberger came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ferden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Brandenberger couldn't finish the play. After having played for 82 minutes, Rodrigo Gerig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferden FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Gerig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Altmatt's Gioele Lucciotti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovanni Piller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Ferden FC's Rodrigo Gerig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bart Bourgouin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rdth minute of the game Carlos Brandenberger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altmatt's Bart Bourgouin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Altmatt's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlos Brandenberger 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6.
