The tension between the Sv Kayilar and the SC Veltheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. 23 minutes into the match, SC Veltheim's Rodolphe Lang broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Claudio Schneebeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. With a little luck, SC Veltheim's Roland Stoop got control of the ball when Lesley Dresdner tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sv Kayilar's goalkeeper Emilio Wagner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Virgil Suppiger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Emilio Wagner made a huge save. 54 minutes into the game, SC Veltheim's Virgil Suppiger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Wagner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Roland Stoop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Keller in the 58th minute of play. Lesley Dresdner struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Roland Stoop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sv Kayilar. Roland Stoop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Keller, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, SC Veltheim's Claudio Schneebeli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emilio Wagner. Emilio Wagner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When Virgil Suppiger came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SC Veltheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgil Suppiger couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Olof Keller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roland Stoop was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Sv Kayilar's Emilio Wagner got control of the ball when Virgil Suppiger tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Veltheim's Claudio Schneebeli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emilio Wagner. That made the score 1-3 after 78 minutes of play. In the 84th minute Claudio Schneebeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Wagner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Schneebeli did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Emilio Wagner 96 minutes into the match. The Sv Kayilar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Veltheim's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Veltheim.
