An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Kümin in the 4th minute of play forced Courtelary's goalkeeper Paco Freitag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ken Trasatti struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Paco Freitag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oeschberg HC. Paco Freitag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Kümin in the 8th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Fréderic Wilhelm took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for David Lepre to make any attempt to save it. Fréderic Wilhelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nico Kümin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ken Trasatti came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Oeschberg HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ken Trasatti couldn't finish the play. Paco Freitag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Kümin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Nico Kümin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Freitag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andre Grubenmann hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 3-2 became the score in the 95th minute when Nico Kümin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Courtelary were victorious despite being under pressure from Oeschberg HC for much of the match.
