Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olli Kastner started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Olli Kastner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lurtigen HC and the Luzern FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olli Kastner hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. If Charles Jolicoeur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Eusebius Schnider notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lurtigen HC's Ralf Doucet. Ralf Doucet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ralf Doucet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Jolicoeur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebius Schnider in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralf Doucet saved Lurtigen HC from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Luzern FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olli Kastner came free, but Bruno Fassbind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Charles Jolicoeur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luzern FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Jolicoeur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Luzern FC's Eusebius Schnider in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lurtigen HC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Lurtigen HC defense, Charles Jolicoeur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ralf Doucet. The Lurtigen HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ralf Doucet should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Eusebius Schnider's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralf Doucet was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lurtigen HC's goalkeeper Ralf Doucet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ralf Doucet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebius Schnider in the 51st minute of the match. Charles Jolicoeur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Doucet having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Charles Jolicoeur notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lurtigen HC's Ralf Doucet. Ralf Doucet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Lurtigen HC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gerald Bar hit a great ball. Ralf Doucet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebius Schnider, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Lurtigen HC's Valentin Luft got a free kick in the 80th minute. Eusebius Schnider struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ralf Doucet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luzern FC. Bruno Fassbind didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olli Kastner went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Luzern FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
