Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Olli Kastner got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Lurtigen HC's Olli Kastner got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Catana FC's zone, Matteo Belisle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Allemann came out of the goal and Matteo Belisle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerrit Bregenzer during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Catana FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Bregenzer. Gerrit Bregenzer got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ralf Doucet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felice Faieta went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Klaas Cippola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steffen Allemann made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Matteo Belisle sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Olli Kastner took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Steffen Allemann to make any attempt to save it. Donatello Brandini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steffen Allemann made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Matteo Belisle sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Valentin Luft tried in the game's 52nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Ralf Doucet. An annoying self made goal, 1-2. Catana FC's Steffen Allemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Belisle in the 57th minute of play. Steffen Allemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matteo Belisle, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Matteo Belisle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Lurtigen HC's Ralf Doucet got control of the ball when Christophe Portmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felice Faieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Doucet having to interfere. Valentin Luft kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Olli Kastner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Steffen Allemann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Olli Kastner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matteo Belisle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Allemann having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Catana FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
