Renaud Sulliger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oluf Kreienbühl, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Hardy Zimmermann scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renaud Sulliger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, SC Einschlag's goalkeeper Renaud Sulliger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hardy Zimmermann. Renaud Sulliger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oluf Kreienbühl showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 25th match minute, FC Sälihof was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Egloff to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Gutknecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oluf Kreienbühl in the 27th minute of play forced SC Einschlag's goalkeeper Renaud Sulliger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, FC Sälihof's Oluf Kreienbühl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renaud Sulliger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Sälihof's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hardy Zimmermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Oluf Kreienbühl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Einschlag's Renaud Sulliger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, SC Einschlag's Renaud Sulliger got control of the ball when Hardy Zimmermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 49th minute, Andreas Gutknecht ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Poldi Bärtschi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reno Hügli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Einschlag's zone, Oluf Kreienbühl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaud Sulliger came out of the goal and Oluf Kreienbühl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Hardy Zimmermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oluf Kreienbühl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaud Sulliger having to interfere. The supporters of SC Einschlag booed when FC Sälihof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Elisabeth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes FC Sälihof got a freekick which was hit by Niklaus Theiss. After having played for 73 minutes, Hardy Zimmermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Sälihof's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hardy Zimmermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Hardy Zimmermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renaud Sulliger. SC Einschlag's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hardy Zimmermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Hardy Zimmermann struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Renaud Sulliger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sälihof. If Reno Hügli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, FC Sälihof's goalkeeper Poldi Bärtschi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Gutknecht. Renaud Sulliger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oluf Kreienbühl in the 98th minute of play. FC Sälihof's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
