Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Byoung Iland's Ellison Imhof started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Jaun booed when Byoung Iland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerd Freuler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Byoung Iland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Stuart Barbonetti scored to the left of an out of position Allan Oberholzer, making the score, 1-0. Patrizius Höltschi scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynold Steinger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reynold Steinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrizius Höltschi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Gerd Freuler kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With 33 minutes on the clock, Philipp Behr commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When Jochen Baertschi came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Jaun fans jumped to their feet. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some careless play in the Byoung Iland defense, Stuart Barbonetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Oberholzer. The Byoung Iland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Oberholzer should have stopped the shot. After 60 played minutes Byoung Iland got a freekick which was hit by Ellison Imhof. In the 64th minute Stuart Barbonetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Oberholzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Gerd Freuler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynold Steinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Oberholzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Finger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dennis Steingher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gerd Freuler fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Byoung Iland's protests and gave Gerd Freuler a yellow card for diving instead. Gerd Freuler kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stuart Barbonetti during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Jaun got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Barbonetti. After a defensive mix-up in Byoung Iland's zone, Dennis Steingher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Oberholzer came out of the goal and Dennis Steingher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Stuart Barbonetti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Jaun's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
