Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Raphael Bianco made the kick off which started today's match. Rene Rast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Andreas Badurina managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Gnosca's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Badurina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mac Donders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saland FC's Mac Donders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Christen in the 8th minute of play. Jeremie Camenzind made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Rene Rast sent off a good shot on target. Renato Soucy charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renato Soucy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Renato Soucy kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Mac Donders came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Gnosca's Andreas Badurina. But to his dismay, Andreas Badurina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Raphael Bianco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mac Donders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Christen in the 35th minute of play. If Kajetan Christen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Raphael Bianco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Bianco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rene Rast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, AS Gnosca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowland Kümin to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes AS Gnosca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Wider who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Saland FC's Tomas Wider to fire away a dangerous shot which Jeremie Camenzind despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half AS Gnosca were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kajetan Christen to make the kick off. Andreas Badurina took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mac Donders. Mac Donders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Rast in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremie Camenzind saved AS Gnosca from getting behind. Andreas Badurina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raphael Bianco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jeremie Camenzind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Kajetan Christen managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Gnosca's supporters rose to their feet, but Kajetan Christen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mac Donders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind AS Gnosca's goalkeeper Jeremie Camenzind, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Bianco in the 70th minute of play forced AS Gnosca's goalkeeper Jeremie Camenzind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, AS Gnosca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowland Kümin to maneuver through the defense. Clinton Fritsch kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tomas Wider was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, AS Gnosca's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Bianco came free, but Jeremie Camenzind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Badurina got free with Mac Donders in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeremie Camenzind came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Saland FC's Rene Rast. But to his dismay, Rene Rast quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Kajetan Christen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mac Donders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AS Gnosca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
