Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Saland FC's zone, Guido Lüthi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mac Donders came out of the goal and Guido Lüthi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saland FC's Mac Donders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Lüthi in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Saland FC's Renato Soucy got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Norman Moos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mac Donders skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Paul Masciolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flerden HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Masciolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mac Donders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Guido Lüthi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flerden HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Horatio Ehrenbolger's late challenge caught a Flerden HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horatio Ehrenbolger helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Saland FC got a freekick which was hit by Horatio Ehrenbolger. Flerden HC's Paul Masciolo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Masciolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, one of Saland FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saland FC. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Flerden HC. Norman Moos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mac Donders. 0-2. Paul Masciolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Rene Rast ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Ruppen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 47 played minutes, Flerden HC's Jose Bohren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mac Donders came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flerden HC reached it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Lüthi to make the kick off. Rene Rast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flerden HC's Gabriel Ruppen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Rast in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Paul Masciolo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 65 minutes, Thommy Trucco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flerden HC and the Saland FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Flerden HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thommy Trucco to maneuver through the defense. Flerden HC's Gabriel Ruppen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Rast in the 66th minute of play. Saland FC's Mac Donders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Lüthi in the 68th minute of play. Paul Masciolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mac Donders having to interfere. The supporters of Flerden HC booed when Saland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horatio Ehrenbolger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mac Donders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Lüthi in the 75th minute of the match. Guido Lüthi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mac Donders having to interfere. In the 78th minute Paul Masciolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mac Donders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Ruppen came out of the goal and Raphael Bianco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Rainier Kolly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Masciolo got free with Mac Donders in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Guido Lüthi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mac Donders, 1-3. The Saland FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Flerden HC's performance. The match ended with a win for Flerden HC.
