Dominique Ascanis short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Jan Netzer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 7thth minute of the game Patrizius Lampron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hölstein's Olympio Meyer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Patrizius Lampron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olympio Meyer was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 21stth minute of the game Patrizius Lampron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hölstein's Olympio Meyer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Cagnagob's Patrizius Lampron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cagnagob's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hölstein the free kick. After 30 played minutes Cagnagob got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Thürig. When Cagnagob's Patrizius Lampron in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hölstein's goalie prevented a goal. Patrizius Lampron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olympio Meyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Alex Ciancone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cagnagob's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Ciancone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olympio Meyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cagnagob fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Cagnagob's Patrizius Lampron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrizius Lampron in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olympio Meyer saved Hölstein from getting behind. If Patrizius Lampron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hölstein's Olympio Meyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrizius Lampron in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Patrizius Lampron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olympio Meyer was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Olympio Meyer made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Patrizius Lampron sent off a good shot on target. After 68 played minutes Cagnagob got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Steinemann. Patrizius Lampron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Olympio Meyer made a huge save. Cagnagob's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silas Gianico in the 72nd minute. The corner led Cagnagob's Silas Gianico to fire away a dangerous shot which Olympio Meyer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Hölstein booed when Cagnagob was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Steinemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Netzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yvan Frueh in the 75th minute of the match. Olympio Meyer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Helmuth Siedler in the 79th minute. In the 81st match minute, Hölstein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominique Ascani to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 90 in the game by Patrizius Lampron from a close distance when the talented Olympio Meyer managed to make a qualified save. Hölstein's players were relieved. Patrizius Lampron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Olympio Meyer made a huge save. Yvan Frueh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Netzer having to interfere. Cagnagob's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
