Semjon Hulliger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marlo Renkewitz in the 3rd minute of play. Florent Bossert hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Etienne Kohler fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rüstenschwil FC's protests and gave Etienne Kohler a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rüstenschwil FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Etienne Kohler hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neron Süber got free with Semjon Hulliger in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tam Küng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintinus Boller in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Steffisburg's Jordan Bernuzzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Semjon Hulliger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 minutes, Neron Süber made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rüstenschwil FC's Semjon Hulliger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Steffisburg's Neron Süber got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jordan Bernuzzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steffisburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordan Bernuzzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Semjon Hulliger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jordan Bernuzzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Semjon Hulliger was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Steffisburg's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Pfaff came free, but Tam Küng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lion Ursprung kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Neron Süber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Semjon Hulliger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steffisburg's Jordan Bernuzzi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Steffisburg's Jordan Bernuzzi in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rüstenschwil FC's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jordan Bernuzzi made the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Jordan Bernuzzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rüstenschwil FC's Semjon Hulliger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 56 minutes of play Rüstenschwil FC's Etienne Kohler was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Etienne Kohler kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Semjon Hulliger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neron Süber, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cordell Dupéré charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cordell Dupéré the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Steffisburg getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cordell Dupéré hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Neron Süber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semjon Hulliger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordan Bernuzzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rüstenschwil FC's zone, Neron Süber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Semjon Hulliger came out of the goal and Neron Süber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steffisburg's Tam Küng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Steffisburg from getting a goal against them. Steffisburg's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
