Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rüstenschwil FC's Fabian Pfaff started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes, South Würenlingen's Giuseppe Marti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Semjon Hulliger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in South Würenlingen reached it. After 7 played minutes Rüstenschwil FC got a freekick which was hit by Etienne Kohler. Fiore Howald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Semjon Hulliger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Pier Mattmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semjon Hulliger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Fabian Pfaff notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of South Würenlingen's Falco Digel. Falco Digel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 18 played minutes Rüstenschwil FC got a freekick which was hit by Etienne Kohler. Pier Mattmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Semjon Hulliger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, South Würenlingen's Fiore Howald made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Semjon Hulliger was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fiore Howald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Pier Mattmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semjon Hulliger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rüstenschwil FC's zone, Fiore Howald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Semjon Hulliger came out of the goal and Fiore Howald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When South Würenlingen's Pier Mattmann in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rüstenschwil FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Pfaff in the 34th minute of play forced South Würenlingen's goalkeeper Falco Digel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiore Howald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Semjon Hulliger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Pier Mattmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Würenlingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pier Mattmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrick Schifferli hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Pier Mattmann came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the South Würenlingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pier Mattmann couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the game, Fiore Howald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Semjon Hulliger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fiore Howald was the one to do the kick off. When Pier Mattmann came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the South Würenlingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pier Mattmann couldn't finish the play. When Florent Bossert fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rüstenschwil FC's protests and gave Florent Bossert a yellow card for diving instead. 61 minutes into the game, one of Rüstenschwil FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Stefano Buchmann walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Rüstenschwil FC's Semjon Hulliger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiore Howald in the 73rd minute of play. If Fiore Howald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semjon Hulliger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Picca, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, South Würenlingen's Khalid Kirchhofer got a free kick in the 81st minute. Domingo Burri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semjon Hulliger having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Loris Anderjoli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. South Würenlingen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rüstenschwil FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, South Würenlingen's Loris Anderjoli got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Falco Digel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quintinus Boller's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded South Würenlingen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rüstenschwil FC.
