Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leopoldo Weingart took the kick off in the first half of the match. Solduno's Bernard Cicchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Weingart in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Weingart in the 6th minute of play forced Solduno's goalkeeper Bernard Cicchetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CATANIA HC's Ludovico Garnier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cooper Frey in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Solduno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harley Stähelin to maneuver through the defense. If Andy Brandini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cooper Frey in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludovico Garnier saved CATANIA HC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Harley Stähelin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludovico Garnier was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Ludovico Garnier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cooper Frey in the 33rd minute of play. Cooper Frey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ludovico Garnier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Theissen lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cooper Frey to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Frey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ludovico Garnier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Cooper Frey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ludovico Garnier. That made the score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, CATANIA HC's goal looked a bit too open when Cooper Frey came free, but Ludovico Garnier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cooper Frey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolphe Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Harley Stähelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Beaudry in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludovico Garnier saved CATANIA HC from getting behind. After having played for 83 minutes, Harley Stähelin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solduno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harley Stähelin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Solduno's Cooper Frey fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After a rather tough play, CATANIA HC's Roland Wyss got a free kick in the 88th minute. Harley Stähelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harley Stähelin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Ludovico Garnier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in CATANIA HC's zone, Cooper Frey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludovico Garnier came out of the goal and Cooper Frey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The CATANIA HC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Solduno were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
