With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bobby Ziörjen in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernard Cicchetti saved Solduno from getting behind. Bernard Cicchetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Ziörjen in the 8th minute of the match. Quintinus Kaestner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cooper Frey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Baumann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harley Stähelin struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Quintinus Kaestner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solduno. A collision led to Gibswil SC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Simon Unternährer hit a great ball. Solduno's Bernard Cicchetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Solduno from getting a goal against them. Harley Stähelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintinus Kaestner having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cooper Frey in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quintinus Kaestner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quintinus Kaestner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cooper Frey in the 43rd minute of the match. Quintinus Kaestner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cooper Frey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Solduno's zone, Bobby Ziörjen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Cicchetti came out of the goal and Bobby Ziörjen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

A collision led to Gibswil SC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Michael Schmidiger hit a great ball. Bobby Ziörjen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Cicchetti having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Solduno's Cooper Frey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quintinus Kaestner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cooper Frey in the 62nd minute of play forced Gibswil SC's goalkeeper Quintinus Kaestner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cooper Frey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, Michael Schmidiger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gibswil SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solduno the free kick. Solduno's Norbert Holmann couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gibswil SC. After a rather tough play, Gibswil SC's Michael Schmidiger got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Sven Baumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Cicchetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Solduno's Bernard Cicchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Ziörjen in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Sven Baumann made a precise shot to the right of Bernard Cicchetti. Solduno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Solduno's Harley Stähelin got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gibswil SC's Quintinus Kaestner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Gibswil SC from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, Solduno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspard Loiacono to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Sven Baumann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernard Cicchetti was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Giuseppe Frey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Gibswil SC got a corner. Solduno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Etienne Graf ran over to the corner to take the kick. Serge Feurer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gibswil SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Solduno had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
