Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florian Pierucci took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stanislaw Besmer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benoit Espa. Findelen's Stanislaw Besmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Findelen from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Stössel in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celestino Frey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute Gaston Stössel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lumbrein's goalkeeper Celestino Frey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lumbrein defense, Gaston Stössel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Frey. The Lumbrein fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Frey should have stopped the shot. Vico Freihofer charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vico Freihofer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Lumbrein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vico Freihofer to maneuver through the defense. Findelen's Brendan Henziross managed to work through Lumbrein's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Brendan Henziross dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 30 minutes into the match, Lumbrein's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Duerr came free, but Celestino Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Frey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Stössel in the 31st minute of the match. After 34th play minutes Luis Duerr shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Celestino Frey and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Findelen booed when Lumbrein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vico Freihofer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Duerr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Frey having to interfere. Gaston Stössel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Frey having to interfere. Celestino Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Stössel, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Brendan Henziross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Frey having to interfere. Celestino Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Duerr, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Gaston Stössel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Frey. Lumbrein's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Stössel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Gaston Stössel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis Duerr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brendan Henziross received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celestino Frey came out and tried to block the shot, but Brendan Henziross slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Lumbrein's Vico Freihofer got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Luis Duerr who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lumbrein's Celestino Frey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dean Dolder kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. A hard shot by Luis Duerr from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Celestino Frey's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gaston Stössels short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Celestino Frey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 91 minutes into the match, Lumbrein's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Duerr came free, but Celestino Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Frey came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Findelen's Gaston Stössel. But to his dismay, Gaston Stössel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The Lumbrein fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Findelen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
