Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Sperisen got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Tamins HC's goalkeeper Kristof Büto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orell Sibenthal. In the 6th minute Herve Eichelberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristof Büto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Herve Eichelberger came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Bedretto HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herve Eichelberger couldn't finish the play. Orell Sibenthal scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristof Büto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Foster Renner in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ischy Tanguay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Tamins HC's goal looked a bit too open when Herve Eichelberger came free, but Kristof Büto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Bedretto HC got a corner. Tamins HC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raoul Shuster ran over to the corner to take the kick. Florian Oester made a great header on Bedretto HC's corner, it was just that Tamins HC's Kristof Büto managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Foster Renner in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ischy Tanguay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herve Eichelberger in the 30th minute of play forced Tamins HC's goalkeeper Kristof Büto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raoul Shuster kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bedretto HC's goalkeeper Ischy Tanguay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Christian Sperisen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Herve Eichelberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ischy Tanguay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Sperisen in the 47th minute of the match. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bedretto HC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Phil Arnet was slow to take the kick. During this time Tamins HC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Tamins HC's Phil Arnet to fire away a dangerous shot which Ischy Tanguay despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Herve Eichelberger made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herve Eichelberger in the 57th minute of play forced Tamins HC's goalkeeper Kristof Büto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foster Renner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herve Eichelberger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristof Büto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Orell Sibenthal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kristof Büto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bedretto HC's Ischy Tanguay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Bedretto HC from getting a goal against them. When Francesco Schmidt fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bedretto HC's protests and gave Francesco Schmidt a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Bedretto HC got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Schmidt. Ischy Tanguay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Sperisen in the 78th minute of play. Ischy Tanguay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Foster Renner in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Sperisen in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ischy Tanguay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Sperisen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Foster Renner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ischy Tanguay made a huge save. Orell Sibenthal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristof Büto having to interfere. Tamins HC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
