Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eike Balmer got the match started through his kick off. Eike Balmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9thth minute of the game Albert Kuster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meierskappel AC's Dan Wagner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Tribschen booed when Meierskappel AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Schwyzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludwig Mahler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Wagner having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Meierskappel AC's Ingo Gisler got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Ingo Gisler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludwig Mahler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Wagner having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Ludwig Mahler made a precise shot to the right of Dan Wagner. Meierskappel AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Eike Balmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Pat Rominger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Tribschen were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pat Rominger came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Meierskappel AC's Eike Balmer. But to his dismay, Eike Balmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 64 minutes into the match, Tribschen's Ludwig Mahler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Wagner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Tribschen defense, Hamlet Leisibach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pat Rominger. The Tribschen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pat Rominger should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Roberto Achen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pat Rominger was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Roberto Achen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pat Rominger came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Meierskappel AC's Eike Balmer. But to his dismay, Eike Balmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Meierskappel AC had won after a very even match.
