Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Federico Brütsch started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tommy Emmenegger's late challenge caught a Hofen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Emmenegger helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Hospenthal AC got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Emmenegger. After 11 played minutes, Hofen's Alwin Gubser shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Schällibaum came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hofen reached it. Louis Amrein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Philip Veterini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louis Amrein in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip Veterini saved Hofen from getting behind. After 20th play minutes Balthasar Saenger shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Patrick Schällibaum and just under the crossbar into goal. Federico Brütsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Philip Veterini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Federico Brütsch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip Veterini was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Hofen's Philip Veterini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Brütsch in the 28th minute of play. When Hospenthal AC's Louis Amrein in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hofen's goalie prevented a goal. Louis Amrein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Philip Veterini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Veterini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Amrein, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Balthasar Saenger in the 57th minute of play forced Hospenthal AC's goalkeeper Patrick Schällibaum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felicien Anderjoli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patrick Schällibaum. Hospenthal AC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Federico Brütsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Veterini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Brütsch in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hofen's zone, Federico Brütsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Veterini came out of the goal and Federico Brütsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Federico Brütsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hospenthal AC's Federico Brütsch in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hofen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd minute of the match Felicien Anderjoli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrick Schällibaum skillfully saved the ball. After 86 minutes, Leonardo Wyder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hofen and the Hospenthal AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hofen's Leonardo Wyder got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Nicolas Bédard managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Balthasar Saenger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Patrick Schällibaum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Hospenthal AC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Joakim Zurbuchen hit a great ball. Hospenthal AC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Hofen had won, even though Hospenthal AC had held more of the ball.
