The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Andrew Chassot managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Hofen's Balthasar Saenger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Andrew Chassot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Pellandini in the 5th minute of the match. Hofen's Yannic Roy got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Hofen's goal looked a bit too open when Justus Käuflin came free, but Philip Veterini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hofen getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ulrico Hunkeler hit a great ball. Paolo Pellandini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philip Veterini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justus Käuflin in the 31st minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Bachtolen's Justus Käuflin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Veterini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Pellandini in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrew Chassot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paolo Pellandini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Philip Veterini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justus Käuflin in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Nicolai Ackeret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bachtolen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolai Ackeret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Justus Käuflin came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Bachtolen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justus Käuflin couldn't finish the play. With his leg Philip Veterini managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Bachtolen's Nicolai Ackeret fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd match minute, Hofen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannic Roy to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Elian Kuoni sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hofen's Philip Veterini didn't even have to move. 81 minutes into the game, Yannic Roy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hofen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bachtolen the free kick. Yannic Roy hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justus Käuflin in the 83rd minute of play forced Hofen's goalkeeper Philip Veterini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elian Kuoni helped the player get up and apologised. 88 minutes into the game, one of Bachtolen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Hofen a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonardo Wyder, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bachtolen's Andrew Chassot. 1-1.
