Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jon Eiffel kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Jon Eiffel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thorsten Glanzmann got in the 6th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Karim Vitelli handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Karim Vitelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremiah Mottolese in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Gsteig HC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremiah Mottolese came free, but Karim Vitelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marten Rodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Eiffel in the 15th minute of play. Thorsten Glanzmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jon Eiffel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gsteig HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Eiffel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marten Rodel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes Irgenhausen got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Brandini. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Jon Eiffel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marten Rodel. Jiri Probst's late challenge caught a Irgenhausen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jiri Probst helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Gsteig HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiri Probst to maneuver through the defense. Thorsten Glanzmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Vitelli having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremiah Mottolese was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Irgenhausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephane Neustadt to maneuver through the defense. Gsteig HC's Karim Vitelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorsten Glanzmann in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Bernhard Mueller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Irgenhausen's zone, Jon Eiffel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marten Rodel came out of the goal and Jon Eiffel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Gsteig HC's Jiri Probst got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Georg Wiprächtiger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karim Vitelli skillfully saved the ball. If Thorsten Glanzmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irgenhausen's Marten Rodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Eiffel in the 89th minute of play. Jiri Probst kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The Gsteig HC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
