Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Olympio Cicchetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landbrugg's supporters rose to their feet, but Olympio Cicchetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Pasquino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frasier Ziegler kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. With a little luck, Landbrugg's Mike Piretti got control of the ball when Francois Stocker tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Francois Stocker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mike Piretti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute, Olympio Cicchetti made a precise shot to the right of Albano Pasquino. Saxeten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurice Zweig during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Landbrugg's Maurice Zweig got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saxeten's zone, Reinhard Bauer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Pasquino came out of the goal and Reinhard Bauer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Reinhard Bauer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saxeten's Albano Pasquino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Regis Lapierre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saxeten's Francois Stocker got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stephen Steiger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Landbrugg's Maurice Zweig got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stephen Steiger in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Piretti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Landbrugg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Francois Stocker fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With an all-out effort, Saxeten's Mike Piretti threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stephen Steiger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Albano Pasquino made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Olympio Cicchetti sent off a good shot on target. When Hubert Schuster fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Landbrugg's protests and gave Hubert Schuster a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Olympio Cicchetti put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Albano Pasquino. 60 minutes into the match, Francois Stocker notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Landbrugg's Mike Piretti. Mike Piretti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 minutes of play, Landbrugg's Olympio Cicchetti made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albano Pasquino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olympio Cicchetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stephen Steiger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mike Piretti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Olympio Cicchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Albano Pasquino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olympio Cicchetti got free with Albano Pasquino in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Olympio Cicchetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Landbrugg booed when Saxeten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frasier Ziegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stephen Steiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Olympio Cicchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olympio Cicchetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Francois Stocker came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Saxeten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francois Stocker couldn't finish the play. Mike Piretti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Steiger in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Landbrugg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
