Xavier Belliger hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Yvon Schneebeli charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yvon Schneebeli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 4 minutes into the game, one of Nidegg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Quentin Schnider went to the wrong direction when Denis Trudeau was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Michel Rastgeber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Portmann in the 10th minute of the match. Michel Rastgeber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Portmann in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Karl Junker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nidegg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Junker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Thomas Portmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hirschhorn's Jurij Dagenais in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nidegg's goalie prevented a goal. Jurij Dagenais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Quentin Schnider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quentin Schnider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurij Dagenais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes, Christian Fuchs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nidegg and the Hirschhorn players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Christian Fuchs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Trudeau, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jurij Dagenais in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quentin Schnider prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Carbonelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Quentin Schnider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Junker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel Rastgeber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Portmann went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Jurij Dagenais made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Hirschhorn's Gerard Schenker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quentin Schnider narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michel Rastgeber was a little too slow when Thomas Portmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. A collision led to Nidegg getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Xavier Belliger hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Jurij Dagenais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Schnider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nidegg's zone, Jurij Dagenais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quentin Schnider came out of the goal and Jurij Dagenais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Keno Pasquino charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keno Pasquino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Keno Pasquino kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Nidegg's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Carbonelli came free, but Quentin Schnider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quentin Schnider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurij Dagenais, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Karl Junker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute of the match Gustavo Mazur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quentin Schnider showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Daniel Carbonelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Quentin Schnider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94thth minute of the game Jurij Dagenais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nidegg's Quentin Schnider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 96 played minutes Hirschhorn got a freekick which was hit by Arndt Isaak. The Nidegg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
