Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thomas Portmann made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 8th minute, one of Nidegg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nidegg. Quentin Schnider had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Lucas Quessy's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Xavier Belliger kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Maloja HC's Lucas Quessy tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Patrick Kappel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Quentin Schnider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Albbrecht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Portmann in the 16th minute of the match. When Nidegg's Karl Junker in 18 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Kurt Albbrecht guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Karl Junker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Junker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Albbrecht having to interfere. Patrick Kappel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Quentin Schnider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Junker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurt Albbrecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Portmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maloja HC's Kurt Albbrecht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Portmann in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Quentin Schnider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Baader in the 54th minute of play. When Jose Baader came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Maloja HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Baader couldn't finish the play. If Jose Baader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Belliger during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Nidegg got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Belliger. Jose Baader struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Quentin Schnider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maloja HC. 68 minutes into the match, Maloja HC's Jose Baader sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quentin Schnider narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jose Baader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Quentin Schnider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Kappel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Baader recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Portmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kurt Albbrecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Portmann in the 91st minute of play forced Maloja HC's goalkeeper Kurt Albbrecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Kappel in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quentin Schnider prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Nidegg players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Maloja HC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
