Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Schongau's Max Vonrotz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Max Vonrotz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marvin Neuenschwander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Roberto Trolla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Dario Ehrler from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Samir Bünder's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 18th match minute, Schongau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Vonrotz to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes, Delémont EC's Huber Lambrozzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samir Bünder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Delémont EC reached it. After a rather tough play, Schongau's Ron Frueh got a free kick in the 20th minute. Max Vonrotz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Marvin Neuenschwander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Vonrotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Marvin Neuenschwander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Vonrotz in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrizio Ambrogioni in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samir Bünder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 minutes, Ron Frueh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schongau and the Delémont EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Schongau getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ron Frueh hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Fabrizio Ambrogioni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Max Vonrotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Huber Lambrozzi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samir Bünder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marvin Neuenschwander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Vonrotz's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Samir Bünder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Trolla in the 43rd minute. After 43 played minutes Schongau got a freekick which was hit by Vincent D'Angelo. In the 45thth minute of the game Fabrizio Ambrogioni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schongau's Samir Bünder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 47 in the game by Fabrizio Ambrogioni from a close distance when the talented Samir Bünder managed to make a qualified save. Schongau's players were relieved. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Samir Bünder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Trolla in the 54th minute of the match. After 55th play minutes Fabrizio Ambrogioni shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Samir Bünder and just under the crossbar into goal. Theo Schoch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marvin Neuenschwander came out and tried to block the shot, but Theo Schoch slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedict Bohm during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Schongau's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 69th minute of the game, when Ron Frueh after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Delémont EC's goal. Ron Frueh was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 70th minute, Schongau's Laurenz Jutz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. A collision led to Schongau getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Laurenz Jutz hit a great ball. Samir Bünder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrizio Ambrogioni's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrizio Ambrogioni in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samir Bünder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute Quentin Galliker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samir Bünder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Schoch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samir Bünder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Galliker in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Delémont EC's goalkeeper Marvin Neuenschwander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theo Schoch. In the 96thth minute of the game Fabrizio Ambrogioni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schongau's Samir Bünder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabrizio Ambrogioni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Samir Bünder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Schongau walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
