Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Seeberg's Nathan Gugger started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Theo Schoch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theo Schoch struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Paul Burger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schongau. In the 15th minute, Theo Schoch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Trolla kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Samir Bünder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathan Gugger in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Serge Glockner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seeberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schongau the free kick. After 22 played minutes Seeberg got a freekick which was hit by Serge Glockner. 28 minutes into the game, Thomas Tomasi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Samir Bünder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Seeberg's Paul Burger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Vonrotz in the 34th minute of play. If Thomas Tomasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Schongau's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan Gugger came free, but Samir Bünder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Seeberg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, Schongau's Ulrico Vogel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paul Burger. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Vonrotz to strike the kick off in the second half. Samir Bünder made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Thomas Tomasi sent off a good shot on target. When Theo Schoch came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Schongau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Schoch couldn't finish the play. Paul Burger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Vonrotz in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schongau's goalkeeper Samir Bünder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Theo Schoch scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Burger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th match minute, Schongau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrico Vogel to maneuver through the defense. Samir Bünder was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joe Daoust. 80 minutes into the match, Max Vonrotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Burger. Seeberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Max Vonrotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Samir Bünder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Tomasi went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Paul Burger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Schoch, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Schongau walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
