Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Quentin Schmidlin came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Mjöllnir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quentin Schmidlin couldn't finish the play. Didier Bonenfant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sandro Goetschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralf Scenna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandro Goetschi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didier Bonenfant in the 12th minute of the match. Sandro Goetschi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralf Scenna's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Dean Bühlmann's late challenge caught a Mjöllnir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dean Bühlmann helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mastrils HC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Dean Bühlmann hit a great ball. Didier Bonenfant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sandro Goetschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claude Cinq-Mars hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Jacquin Bühlmann fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mjöllnir's protests and gave Jacquin Bühlmann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26thth minute of the game Ralf Scenna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mastrils HC's Sandro Goetschi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mastrils HC's Sandro Goetschi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Scenna in the 27th minute of play. Ralf Scenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sandro Goetschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Mjöllnir's goal looked a bit too open when Sauveur Küng came free, but Marc Brand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Ivan Fortin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mastrils HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kerwin Seifert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mastrils HC's zone, Quentin Schmidlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Goetschi came out of the goal and Quentin Schmidlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Didier Bonenfant to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ralf Scenna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Goetschi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Mastrils HC's goal looked a bit too open when Didier Bonenfant came free, but Sandro Goetschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralf Scenna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Goetschi having to interfere. Mjöllnir's Marc Brand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sauveur Küng in the 66th minute of play. Marc Brand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sauveur Küng in the 67th minute of the match. When Sauveur Küng came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Mastrils HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sauveur Küng couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the game, Mastrils HC's Ivan Fortin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc Brand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Mastrils HC's Ivan Fortin in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mjöllnir's goalie prevented a goal. If Quentin Schmidlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Brand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Fortin, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Mastrils HC's Sauveur Küng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc Brand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After 88 minutes of play, Mastrils HC's Kerwin Seifert made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Brand was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the game, Sauveur Küng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Marc Brand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
