Ascona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Sarajevo SG the free kick. A collision led to Ascona getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Schott to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Denis Schott cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. The audience was convinced that Denis Schott's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robby Galliker was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. FC Sarajevo SG's Denis Schott managed to work through Ascona's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Denis Schott dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Sarajevo SG had played much better football throughout.
