After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ted Paulin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético San Fernando's Fabien Tenaglia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziggy Zigdon in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Volmar Boyer in the 38th minute of play forced Atlético San Fernando's goalkeeper Fabien Tenaglia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabien Tenaglia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Volmar Boyer's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Volmar Boyer made a kick off. With a little luck, Atlético San Fernando's Fabien Tenaglia got control of the ball when Alfons Wespi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabien Tenaglia made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Alfons Wespi sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Henric Persson sped through FK CRVENA ZVEZDA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Howie Bizier. Fabien Tenaglia was a little too slow when Volmar Boyer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 3-3. Fabien Tenaglia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziggy Zigdon in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Volmar Boyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Tenaglia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Atlético San Fernando's Fabien Tenaglia got control of the ball when Alfons Wespi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Atlético San Fernando booed when FK CRVENA ZVEZDA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziggy Zigdon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, FK CRVENA ZVEZDA's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Persson came free, but Howie Bizier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over FK CRVENA ZVEZDA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlético San Fernando throughout the match.
