After 21 played minutes Pirsus got a freekick which was hit by Iago Aspas. In the 26th match minute, Pirsus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Lehner to maneuver through the defense. Dan Steiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simone Menz in the 30th minute of play. Ceddric Bircher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Ziegler, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Pirsus got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Izzo. Vittoriano Nacht might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Steiger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vittoriano Nacht ran back to his position shaking his head. Dan Steiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vittoriano Nacht, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 43 minutes, Grayson Mazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirsus and the THE MANIACS 1987 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Savion replaced Simon Kohler. A collision led to Pirsus getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Guillaume Izzo hit a great ball. When Simone Menz came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the THE MANIACS 1987 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simone Menz couldn't finish the play. Pirsus's Dan Steiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Pirsus from getting a goal against them. Vittoriano Nacht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Steiger having to interfere. In the 67th minute Boris Provoost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Steiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Steiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Provoost in the 70th minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Pirsus got a freekick which was hit by Percy Ziegler. In the 76th minute Vittoriano Nacht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Steiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Karim Schmid fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE MANIACS 1987's protests and gave Karim Schmid a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes THE MANIACS 1987 got a freekick which was hit by Karim Schmid. The Pirsus fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. THE MANIACS 1987 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
