Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Constantijn De Loose started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, Constantijn De Loose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rocky Steenberghs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Constantijn De Loose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocky Steenberghs having to interfere. After 15 minutes of play, Wemmel's Emile Terreur made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rocky Steenberghs was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Constantijn De Loose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantijn De Loose blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rocky Steenberghs having to make a save. If Emile Terreur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolf Van Beringen made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Willy Kuppens sent off a good shot on target. Willy Kuppens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Adolf Van Beringen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Konings struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Adolf Van Beringen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSV Vinalmont. Emile Terreur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocky Steenberghs having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Emile Terreur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rocky Steenberghs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Emile Terreur might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rocky Steenberghs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emile Terreur ran back to his position shaking his head. Constantijn De Loose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Norbert Konings mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KSV Vinalmont and the Wemmel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes KSV Vinalmont got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Konings. In the 62nd minute of the match Wemmel got a corner. KSV Vinalmont's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dimitri Henderickx ran over to the corner to take the kick. 64 minutes into the game, Constantijn De Loose recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rocky Steenberghs. Constantijn De Loose showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When Constantijn De Loose came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Wemmel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantijn De Loose couldn't finish the play. Emile Terreur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocky Steenberghs having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Norbert Konings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in KSV Vinalmont's zone, Constantijn De Loose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rocky Steenberghs came out of the goal and Constantijn De Loose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Wemmel's Constantijn De Loose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rocky Steenberghs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emile Terreur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Rocky Steenberghs made a huge save. Norbert Konings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Adolf Van Beringen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emile Terreur was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Wemmel's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Wemmel's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
