Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kris De Mesemacre got the match started through his kick off. Jeff Dekeyser kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Kris De Mesemacre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolf Van Beringen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon Schamp in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolf Van Beringen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emile Terreur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Van Hove was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Constantijn De Loose capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Constantijn De Loose really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Blauwe Ster's zone, Constantijn De Loose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Van Hove came out of the goal and Constantijn De Loose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantijn De Loose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steffe Raaymakers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolf Van Beringen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Kris De Mesemacre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emile Terreur took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Van Hove. Arnout Van Hove dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Arnout Van Hove made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Emile Terreur sent off a good shot on target. If Kris De Mesemacre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kris De Mesemacre took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolf Van Beringen. Adolf Van Beringen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Constantijn De Loose made the kick off in the second half. Emile Terreur charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Blauwe Ster booed when Wemmel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas-Jan Staes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kris De Mesemacre came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Blauwe Ster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kris De Mesemacre couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Thomas-Jan Staes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Blauwe Ster's Ief Lembrechts tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Wemmel's Adolf Van Beringen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Wemmel from getting a goal against them. Jon Schamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Adolf Van Beringen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kris De Mesemacre was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jon Schamp in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adolf Van Beringen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adolf Van Beringen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris De Mesemacre, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Steffe Raaymakers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Dimitri Henderickx shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Van Hove showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Blauwe Ster's Kris De Mesemacre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Adolf Van Beringen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris De Mesemacre in the 93rd minute of play. Blauwe Ster were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
