One of Wemmel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC The Special Ones:s goal. The referee gave FC The Special Ones a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hubert Dejardin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wemmel's Adolf Van Beringen. 0-1. Guy Ballette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Adolf Van Beringen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Constantijn De Loose managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adolf Van Beringen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armand Stessel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolf Van Beringen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC The Special Ones. After the first half FC The Special Ones were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Armand Stessel made the kick off in the second half. When Waut Van Brussel fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC The Special Ones's protests and gave Waut Van Brussel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wemmel booed when FC The Special Ones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waut Van Brussel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantijn De Loose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armand Stessel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute.
