Alphonse Rousseau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jasper Van Hoovelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Ehsal's goal looked a bit too open when Chris-George Van Craen came free, but Jasper Van Hoovelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Benne Ghesels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wart Feys was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alphonse Rousseau got free with Jasper Van Hoovelt in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alphonse Rousseau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jasper Van Hoovelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris-George Van Craen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasper Van Hoovelt having to interfere. Geordy Ballette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Wart Feys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jasper Van Hoovelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris-George Van Craen in the 39th minute of the match. Jasper Van Hoovelt made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Chris-George Van Craen sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Heuvelland's Chris-George Van Craen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jasper Van Hoovelt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robby Vissenaekens's late challenge caught a Heuvelland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robby Vissenaekens helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Heuvelland booed when Ehsal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robby Vissenaekens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Ehsal were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Chris-George Van Craen made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Chris-George Van Craen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heuvelland's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris-George Van Craen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jasper Van Hoovelt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wart Feys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geordy Ballette in the 57th minute. Wart Feys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geordy Ballette in the 62nd minute of the match. Chris-George Van Craen struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jasper Van Hoovelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heuvelland. 71 minutes into the match, Chris-George Van Craen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jasper Van Hoovelt. Ehsal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris-George Van Craen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 77 minutes into the match, Ehsal's goal looked a bit too open when Alphonse Rousseau came free, but Jasper Van Hoovelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geordy Ballette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
