De Bierbuikjes's Pascal Dekker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Van den Driesch in the 8th minute of play. Pascal Dekker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Volle in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, De Bierbuikjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Elsens to maneuver through the defense. If Michael Volle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudy Elsens was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. De Bierbuikjes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Max Van den Driesch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The De Bierbuikjes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascal Dekker should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, De Bierbuikjes's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Volle came free, but Pascal Dekker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Purpura Academia Juvenil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesly Rix to maneuver through the defense. Purpura Academia Juvenil's Michael Volle got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
