Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gwenn Staes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Liverpool FC's Ray Anthonissen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwenn Staes in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, KSV Kluizen's Brian De Prins got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Gwenn Staes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Kluizen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwenn Staes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, Wart Vanbuyten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liverpool FC's Jerome De Swert suffered a concussion in the 10th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 10 minutes into the game, Mathieux De Geyter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KSV Kluizen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. Gwenn Staes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Anthonissen having to interfere. Mathieux De Geyter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathieux De Geyter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ray Anthonissen made a huge save. After 34 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Uijterhove. Mathieux De Geyter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Ray Anthonissen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Natan Dejonckheere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thibaud Wiechgers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ray Anthonissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwenn Staes in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Natan Dejonckheere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wart Vanbuyten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Thibaud Wiechgers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liverpool FC's Natan Dejonckheere got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in KSV Kluizen's zone, Natan Dejonckheere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thibaud Wiechgers came out of the goal and Natan Dejonckheere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KSV Kluizen's Mathieux De Geyter got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of KSV Kluizen booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niel Van Leemputte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, KSV Kluizen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Spoelbergs to maneuver through the defense. Natan Dejonckheere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Liverpool FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented KSV Kluizen from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
