In the 4th minute, Jasper Vercouteren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Refael Bellinkx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute Andrez Wolput shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Spailer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. R.R.C. Bruxelles's Lucas Vanden Bossche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Van der Vloedt in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Andrez Wolput hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacky Pieters kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viktor Spailer. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Lucas Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Regis De Brouwer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Vanden Bossche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Vercouteren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Lucas Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Vercouteren in the 29th minute of the match. Nic Oyen scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Vanden Bossche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd match minute, R.R.C. Bruxelles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorn Reuters to maneuver through the defense. Refael Bellinkx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacky Pieters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Viktor Spailer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Nestor Valcke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RSC Orsmaal-Gussenhoven and the R.R.C. Bruxelles players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, RSC Orsmaal-Gussenhoven's Nestor Valcke got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Jacky Pieters struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Viktor Spailer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.R.C. Bruxelles.

The wind increased when Jacky Pieters made the kick off in the second half. Steve Verhengen hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Refael Bellinkx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Viktor Spailer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andrez Wolput fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored R.R.C. Bruxelles's protests and gave Andrez Wolput a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to R.R.C. Bruxelles getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Andrez Wolput hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Van der Vloedt in the 64th minute of play forced R.R.C. Bruxelles's goalkeeper Lucas Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regis De Brouwer in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrez Wolput in the 68th minute of play forced RSC Orsmaal-Gussenhoven's goalkeeper Viktor Spailer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. R.R.C. Rein Weba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Spailer having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Jasper Vercouteren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jacky Pieters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, R.R.C. Bruxelles's Lucas Vanden Bossche got control of the ball when Nic Oyen tried to sneak it across the goal line. R.R.C. Bruxelles's Lucas Vanden Bossche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Van der Vloedt in the 89th minute of play. Nic Oyen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Lucas Vanden Bossche made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, R.R.C. Bruxelles's goal looked a bit too open when Regis De Brouwer came free, but Lucas Vanden Bossche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
