Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Danny Renotte came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by R.R.C. Bruxelles's Jacky Pieters. But to his dismay, Jacky Pieters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of R.R.C. Bruxelles booed when Sint-Laureins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Van Den Linden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sint-Laureins fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 11th minute there was a penalty for R.R.C. Bruxelles. Jacky Pieters stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Danny Renotte. 0-2. Danny Renotte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacky Pieters in the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacky Pieters in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Renotte saved Sint-Laureins from getting behind. In the 29th minute Boudewijn Schoutens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Vanden Bossche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudewijn Schoutens in the 30th minute of play. Danny Renotte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rein Weba went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Refael Bellinkx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Renotte having to interfere. Lucas Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remco Huveneers in the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Jeff Vranckx made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Vanden Bossche. R.R.C. Bruxelles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The Sint-Laureins players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. R.R.C. Bruxelles were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacky Pieters made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Van Den Linden in the 54th minute of play forced R.R.C. Bruxelles's goalkeeper Lucas Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudewijn Schoutens in the 55th minute of play. Bernard Van Den Linden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 minutes of play, Sint-Laureins's Bernard Van Den Linden made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Vanden Bossche was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the game, Boudewijn Schoutens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sint-Laureins's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave R.R.C. Bruxelles the free kick. After 69 played minutes Sint-Laureins got a freekick which was hit by Boudewijn Schoutens. Boudewijn Schoutens took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Vanden Bossche. Lucas Vanden Bossche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 80th minute, Maarten Kempenaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacky Pieters in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Danny Renotte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucas Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudewijn Schoutens in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Van Den Linden in the 93rd minute of play forced R.R.C. Bruxelles's goalkeeper Lucas Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacky Pieters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Renotte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
