RSC Orsmaal-Gussenhoven's Thobias Naegels was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Danny Renotte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jasper Vercouteren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Renotte having to interfere. RSC Orsmaal-Gussenhoven's Viktor Spailer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save RSC Orsmaal-Gussenhoven from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, RSC Orsmaal-Gussenhoven's Viktor Spailer got control of the ball when Boudewijn Schoutens tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Van der Vloedt in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danny Renotte saved Sint-Laureins from getting behind. Danny Renotte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Matias Van der Vloedt came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the RSC Orsmaal-Gussenhoven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Van der Vloedt couldn't finish the play. Leon Biermans hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. RSC Orsmaal-Gussenhoven's Jasper Vercouteren got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
