Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Seppe Bouwmans started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Paulus Pardaens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Otrange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulus Pardaens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pierre-Olivier Schoolmeesters came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Royal Sporting Club A fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Olivier Schoolmeesters couldn't finish the play. Seppe Bouwmans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dries Van Lint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Royal Sporting Club A getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rein Winnepenninck hit a great ball. Roben De Mesemacre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulus Pardaens in the 14th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AFC Otrange! Stef De Wyngaert shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seppe Bouwmans in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dries Van Lint prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Seppe Bouwmans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dries Van Lint was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Stef De Wyngaert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dries Van Lint. AFC Otrange's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rocky Van Daelen during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Royal Sporting Club A's Rocky Van Daelen got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 33 minutes of play, Royal Sporting Club A's Pierre-Olivier Schoolmeesters made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dries Van Lint was left in no man's land by his defense there! Seppe Bouwmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dries Van Lint having to interfere. Dries Van Lint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seppe Bouwmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Seppe Bouwmans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dries Van Lint. AFC Otrange's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seppe Bouwmans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Seppe Bouwmans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Sporting Club A's supporters rose to their feet, but Seppe Bouwmans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dries Van Lint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Royal Sporting Club A's Seppe Bouwmans in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Otrange's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Swiggers to strike the kick off in the second half. Pierre-Olivier Schoolmeesters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Royal Sporting Club A getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rein Winnepenninck hit a great ball. Benny Van Clynenbreugel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Rein Winnepenninck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulus Pardaens hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes AFC Otrange got a freekick which was hit by Paulus Pardaens. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Rijniers during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Dries Van Lint, was totally fooled by Royal Sporting Club A's Stef De Wyngaert, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. George Swiggers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roben De Mesemacre having to interfere. Pierre-Olivier Schoolmeesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute of the match, Pierre-Olivier Schoolmeesters got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dries Van Lint was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 98 minutes, Rein Winnepenninck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Sporting Club A and the AFC Otrange players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rein Winnepenninck kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
