After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Seppe Bouwmans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stef De Wyngaert was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Mitch Deflandre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Noordhofwijk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal Sporting Club A the free kick. Royal Sporting Club A's Pierre-Olivier Schoolmeesters got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
