Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan-Pieter Braeckman took the kick off in the first half of the match. KFC Uilenhoek's Charl Dams proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Uilenhoek from getting a goal against them. After having played for 6 minutes, Robben Verhaghen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Zallaken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robben Verhaghen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, KFC Uilenhoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Van der Borght to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Uilenhoek's zone, Robben Verhaghen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charl Dams came out of the goal and Robben Verhaghen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robben Verhaghen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charl Dams having to interfere. Robben Verhaghen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benoit Verhasselt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Knoops went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Knoops in the 20th minute of play forced KV Zallaken's goalkeeper Benoit Verhasselt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, KFC Uilenhoek's goal looked a bit too open when Robben Verhaghen came free, but Charl Dams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charl Dams didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Charl Dams made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Phillipe Moors sent off a good shot on target. KFC Uilenhoek were furious when Enzo de Wolf was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, KV Zallaken's Bartjan Gobbelijns got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Charl Dams.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robben Verhaghen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. KV Zallaken's Benoit Verhasselt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save KV Zallaken from getting a goal against them. After 59 minutes, Jan-Simon Ivens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Uilenhoek and the KV Zallaken players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KFC Uilenhoek getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jan-Simon Ivens hit a great ball. Benoit Verhasselt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Knoops, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 71 minutes into the match, KV Zallaken's goalkeeper Benoit Verhasselt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Knoops. When Janes Uytterhoeven came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the KFC Uilenhoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janes Uytterhoeven couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robben Verhaghen in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charl Dams saved KFC Uilenhoek from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in KV Zallaken's zone, Jonathan Knoops stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benoit Verhasselt came out of the goal and Jonathan Knoops tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robben Verhaghen struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Charl Dams didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Zallaken.
