Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tjorven Van De Gehuchte got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tjorven Van De Gehuchte in the 5th minute of play forced Heers's goalkeeper Cederique Godefroid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of KSV Sottegem:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Heers:s goal. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Heers. Marten Stoffels stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roland De Cock. 1-0. Roland De Cock made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Andreas Puttemas sent off a good shot on target. Andreas Puttemas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Roland De Cock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland De Cock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerrit De Mayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Manu Van Bettenrode received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cederique Godefroid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Michael Salms managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Sottegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Salms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cederique Godefroid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manu Van Bettenrode fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederique Godefroid having to interfere. KSV Sottegem's Michael Salms got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Herman Weynants made a precise shot to the right of Cederique Godefroid. Heers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. KSV Sottegem's Michael Salms got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Puttemas took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland De Cock. Roland De Cock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. KSV Sottegem's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gerrit De Mayer 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, KSV Sottegem's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit De Mayer came free, but Roland De Cock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerrit De Mayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland De Cock having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gerrit De Mayer made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, KSV Sottegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Weynants to maneuver through the defense. Gerrit De Mayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adam Van Craen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Van Craen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cederique Godefroid having to make a save. Roland De Cock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerrit De Mayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Andreas Puttemas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland De Cock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Van Craen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Cederique Godefroid made a huge save. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KSV Sottegem's goalkeeper Roland De Cock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adam Van Craen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, KSV Sottegem's Giovanni Van der Perren got a free kick in the 69th minute. Roland De Cock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Puttemas in the 72nd minute of the match. Matty Zimmer's late challenge caught a KSV Sottegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matty Zimmer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Adam Van Craen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cederique Godefroid. The goal made the score 3-2. In the 80th minute, Andreas Puttemas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Adam Van Craen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cederique Godefroid was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Many of KSV Sottegem's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. KSV Sottegem may have spent more time on the ball, but Heers were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
