Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andris Smets started the match with the kick off. Carlos Jansens hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. With a little luck, KV Paddenhoek's Reinaud De Meyer got control of the ball when Kim Van Aken tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of KV Paddenhoek booed when Beerbuds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffe Worteler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Beerbuds's Frits Vandekerkhove got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Carlos Jansens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominick Schoovaerts skillfully saved the ball. In the 13th match minute, KV Paddenhoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Smits to maneuver through the defense. Thomas-Jan Van de Wal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Beerbuds getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fernand Van Den Eynden hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Carlos Jansens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominick Schoovaerts skillfully saved the ball. Reinaud De Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenn Koten, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Kenn Koten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beerbuds's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenn Koten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinaud De Meyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiel Leyman's late challenge caught a KV Paddenhoek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiel Leyman helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Beerbuds got a freekick which was hit by Emiel Leyman. 28 minutes into the game, KV Paddenhoek's Freddy Smits nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dominick Schoovaerts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Arno Van Der Eyde put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Beerbuds:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KV Paddenhoek:s goal. Carlos Jansens placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenn Koten in the 35th minute of play forced KV Paddenhoek's goalkeeper Reinaud De Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andris Smets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Smits in the 41st minute of play forced Beerbuds's goalkeeper Dominick Schoovaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernand Van Den Eynden hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Carlos Jansens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominick Schoovaerts skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenn Koten to make the kick off. Thomas-Jan Van de Wal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ben Baeyens fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beerbuds's protests and gave Ben Baeyens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute of the match Luk De Custer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominick Schoovaerts showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 58th minute when Freddy Smits elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenn Koten in the 61st minute of play forced KV Paddenhoek's goalkeeper Reinaud De Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Smits took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominick Schoovaerts. Dominick Schoovaerts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Dominick Schoovaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andris Smets in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Andris Smets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominick Schoovaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kenn Koten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas-Jan Van de Wal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reinaud De Meyer having to make a save. Andris Smets was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. KV Paddenhoek's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Reinaud De Meyer came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Beerbuds's Kenn Koten. But to his dismay, Kenn Koten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Thomas-Jan Van de Wal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaud De Meyer having to interfere.
